Spring Has Finally Sprung

After weeks of snowstorms in Jamestown, New Mexico, it seemed that winter would never end.

Now, it has been around 80 degrees. The plants and trees have been blooming and leafing. Foliage has been growing in such a way that the front of the house is almost secluded. I went out and took a few photos.

Additionally, it appears that I have another cat as I have started feeding a feral stray male. He took to the food dish the first day I put it out. He's gray in color and is missing part of an ear, due to a past fight. He'll be staying outside but he knows where to get a meal.

Above, this street started growing leaves last weekend. It is interesting to see them start
on the lower branches and work their way to the upper branches. Photo by Armand Vaquer.

Above, the pine looked like it was dying, but since I've been watering it, it looks much better. Photo by Armand Vaquer.

has been in a few fights as one ear had been torn off. Photo by Armand Vaquer.
